If you have a bad score, however, you will have to deal with loan sharks. This can make it even harder for you to get out of debt. That is why you can’t let your credit plummet in the first place!

An even more important strategy is to keep up on your credit card payments. Do not ever forget to pay your credit card on time. If you do, they can increase your apr, damage your credit rating, and refuse to give you good offers in the future. Do not pay off your credit card all at once. Keep a little balance on it. This helps to keep your credit score up. Do not let your balance get out of control! A few hundred dollars on your credit card is enough to start to build up a little credit. You can pay it off every few months if you want. The most important thing, after all, is to always stay on top of your finances. This sounds simple, but many people forget to do it, and suffer the consequences.
