What is a fire alarm annunciator
Fire alarm systems are very essential safety systems for almost any building to have. The threat of fire is always there, and all it takes is ONE fire to ruin everything. Unfortunately, most people do not want to consider having a proper fire alarm system in place until it is too late.
Most fire alarm systems (especially for large buildings) come with a component called an annunciator. A fire alarm annunciator is a control panel that acts as an interface between the fire alarm system and the building security staff. The purpose of the annunciator is to provide a quick data display of any current fire occurring in the building, such as the location of the fire, and the intensity (whether it is spreading fast or not).
Also, the fire alarm annunciator provides info on the status of the devices in the system, whether they are fully functioning or not. Clearly, the annunciator is an indispensible part of any large fire alarm system.
